Meet the Doctor's

Dr. Shapiro received his undergraduate degree in Laboratory Psychology (Neuropsychopharmacology) from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He then went on to complete his doctorate at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, NJ. While many dentists would go on to practice in their field at this point, Dr. Shapiro opted to continue his dental education. He successfully completed a Post-Doctoral Education Program in Advanced General Dentistry at UMDNJ, for which he received an additional Certification.

Every year Dr. Shapiro enjoys taking continuing dental education courses with some of the most renowned dental practitioners in the world. His studies include:

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Complex Full Mouth Rehabilitation
• Disorders of the TMJ
• Bone Grafting
• Surgical Placement and Restoration of Dental Implants

While dentistry is his passion, his family is his LIFE. He lives locally, with his wife, Cari and four young children, Morgan, Mitchell, Matthew, and Michael. He enjoys spending whatever free time he can with them.

Dr. Glatt grew up in South Florida, received his BS from Florida State University in 1991 and graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry with honors in 1997. He spent one year at the Medical College of Virginia studying Advanced General Dentistry.

Dr. Glatt has nearly 27 years of clinical experience. He has extensive training in advanced restorative/cosmetic procedures to include bone grafting and implants and beautiful/natural smile makeovers. He utilizes the most advanced technology in diagnosing and treating his patients. These include Cone Beam 3D Imaging, CEREC scanning for crowns in a day and digital scanning for a variety of procedures.

Dr. Glatt has also been an Invisalign provider for nearly 20 years with wonderful results.

Dr. Glatt’s philosophy is not just to treat the teeth but the patient as a whole, emotionally and physically. He accounts for overall oral and dental health of each individual patient.
